This book is more than a collection of square, black-and-white photographs; it’s a deeply personal tribute to the town I call home—Bethany, Oklahoma. Each image captures the timeless essence of this place, shot through vintage lenses to evoke a sense of nostalgia and history. Using my FujiFilm XT4 and XT5, I adapted these classic lenses to create a unique visual style that blends past and present, just like Bethany itself.
What started as a simple photography project grew into something much more meaningful. My best friend, Robert Trawick, who is courageously battling cancer, suggested the idea. His encouragement transformed this project into a labor of love—something deeply personal and close to my heart. Every photograph is a reflection of both the town I love and the friendship that gave this book life.
